Giving forward

One of our core values at Vantage is that we care. And our support of the Seka Academy Vantage in Kenya is just one example of caring in action.

In 2018, we decided to make a difference beyond our day-to-day work. Partnering with Phyllis Suter and the Asanti Project, we co-created and funded the building of a primary school in the village of Seka. Our journey began when we learned about Phyllis’s remarkable efforts to uplift a community she knows well. Her enthusiasm and on-the-ground knowledge sparked our commitment to support her dream.

Enabling young minds

Every child deserves the right to turn their dreams into reality. At Vantage we are helping 80 kids to do just this. One wants to be a pilot, one a teacher, and another a doctor. Under Phyllis Suter’s dedicated leadership and the teachers on the ground, these children are not just learning—they're thriving.

The Vantage Academy also provides emotional support and food to fuel growing minds. Centrally located, it serves both Seka and some of the surrounding villages of Kendu Bay.The impact goes beyond the pupils. The school has given the area a new perspective as it works to expand horizons and to build the resilience of the young generation.

“We hope that by supporting education in the village of Seka we’re making life a little brighter for the kids who attend the school.“ Jürgen Kuenkel, Founder and Managing Partner, Vantage Global Event Production

Breaking the chain of poverty

Phyllis, who spends her holidays in Kenya to continue the work, is a powerful example of how one person’s determination can transform not just their own life, but an entire community.

Giving back

"Asanti" means "Thank you" in Swahili—a fitting name for a project that’s all about giving back. Our support of the school would not be possible without our clients and the belief they have in the work we do for them.

"I sincerely hope that each individual working for our clients can take pride in this project and the impact it has–allowing the kids of Seka to shine" - Jürgen
